About Jorge


Jorge Castano has been flying across the globe for years and recently touched down for a safe landing at Weichert Realtors in Westfield! Originally from Colombia, Jorge was raised right here in New Jersey and spent summers with family in South America. He studied linguistics as well as theater, dance and costume design at Kean University where he found a passion for the Arts and a thirst for adventure. Fluent in three languages, Jorge has always enjoyed traveling and meeting new people which led him to a career as a Purser for United Airlines for nearly 25 years. Favorite destinations include Japan, Israel and Buenos Aires but was always happy to come back home to his wife and daughter. His sense of adventure also comes out in his flair for cooking. In his spare time, he is always creating gourmet meals and discovering and experimenting with new recipes. He loves living around friends and family right here in Union county and is excited to meet new friends and help them find their home here as well.
